Bowl Summer Night for an aperitif with friends

When you have invited guests to your home and don’t know what they would like to drink, why not prepare a carafe for fruit and wine cocktails to be served in the moment? For 6 – 8 glasses you need:

  • 500 g sour cherries or cherries
  • 2 ripe pears
  • 1 orange
  • 4 cl cherry liqueur
  • Juice of an orange
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cinnamon stick
  • 2 bottles of rosé wine
  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine

Preparation:
Wash and pit the cherries. Peel the pears and cut them into wedges. Peel the orange and cut it into thin slices. Gather the fruit in the carafe and mix it with the liqueur, orange juice, cinnamon, and sugar. Cover with a bottle of rosé and let stand in the fridge for 3 or 4 hours. Just before serving, remove the cinnamon and fill the carafe with the rest of the rosé wine and prosecco.
