Arneis Langhe DOC
Dry White Wine
2024
Arneis is a native Piedmontese grape. The name seems to originate from the local dialect and means 'naughty', because the grapes were difficult to grow.
White straw color with golden highlights. Bouquet of acacia flowers with special hints of banana, ripe fruit and pineapple. Smooth and balanced flavor with clear citrus notes, but of particular finesse and elegance.
Format 0.75 l. (£ 11.51/lt.)
Langhe Arneis DOC originates in Piedmont, near the town of Alba. This distinctive grape variety thrives on the steep hillsides of the Langhe, where summer temperature swings bring warm days and cooler, breezy nights. The white, sandy soils typical of this area, together with an altitude of around 400 metres above sea level, create the ideal environment for Arneis. Trained exclusively using the Guyot system, it produces a wine with noble aromas and excellent structure.
