Vinitaly 2011: International Packaging Competition

Our cellars have been awarded with the Bronze label for the Pinot Rosato di Puglia 2010 at the 16th National Packaging Competition hold under the 45th edition of Vinitaly, the international exhibition of wines and spirits, which will take place  in Verona from 7th to 11th April 2011.

Vinitaly is the leading Italian wine event which is also internationally well known, and is held annually at the Palexpo VeronaFiere.

The largest exhibition dedicated to the wine sector as per size and has been attracting the international interests over the time, by welcoming the innovations and it’s becoming the wines operator "unmissable event".

This role is the result of 44 years of activity, following the growth and development of an industry that has become the best ambassador of the “Made in Italy", well representing the excellence of the high quality food system.

Here some figures of the past edition:
more than 4,200 exhibitors, an exhibition area of over 92 thousand square meters, about 152K visitors, more than 2,600 accredited journalists from 345 countries.

The National Packaging Competition aims to highlight the best labels of wine, spirits made from wine products, spirits and liqueurs from fruits other than grapes and award  the efforts of companies who keeps improving their brand images.

The panel of judges is convened by VeronaFiere, as organizer of the Vinitaly, and it is composed by high profile specialists with a high technical competence chosen among designers, art directors, journalists, winemakers and marketers.
