Chardonnay Salento IGT Pizzicanto
The “Pizzica” is a popular dance that animates the Salento summer: passion and sensuality. In this unique territory, the Torricella winery produces a fine and fruity White. Made from just the best Chardonnay grapes, only a limited quantity is produced.
It has a pleasant straw-yellow colour with golden highlights and intense aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit. The mouthfeel is fresh and enveloping, with delicate hints of honey to close.
Pizzicanto Primitivo Salento IGT
Pizzicanto takes you by the hand and leads you to the discovery of a twilight Salento; restless. Treading the delicate line that separates day from night, light from shadows, is our Salento IGT Primitivo (red). Made in Torricella by Giordano Wine Makers, it is the result of a careful selection of the most mature and expressive grapes grown where climate and land offer the best cradle possible. Intense, passionate, inspired: a red that speaks of the wonder of Salento; a guardian of secrets to be discovered sip by sip.
The colour is dark red with garnet reflections and swirling venation that fill the gaze with promises of taste. Olfactory profile that is typical of the vine, with intense notes of ripe fruit and very slight shadows of spice. On the palate it excites emotion: velvety, well-structured, full. The wine's sojourn in wood gives Salento IGT Primitivo evocative spicy notes and sculpts its roughness to produce a soft and fascinating character.
Pizzicanto Primitivo Salento Rosato IGT
The exclusive Pizzicanto line of wines produced with passion in Torricella offers a superbly-balanced rosé: Salento IGT Primitivo Rosato. Delicate, like a cool breeze that caresses flowers in full bloom, joining a vibrant dance with the rosy petals. The Primitivo Rosato is the quintessence of territorial inspiration, a perfect synthesis of the scents and flavours of Salento. Light and refreshing, it amazes with hints of honey and blackberries, for a breadth of flavours that gracefully embraces sensations of refined elegance. Pizzicanto plays a game of glances: the Salento IGT Primitivo Rosato reveals itself in the glass, wearing a bright, intense and brilliant pink. The bouquet collects and enhances the olfactory notes characteristic of the territory, with delicate floral expressions and sugary notes of fruit. Tasting holds true to the character of Primitivo, proudly structured in body and changeable in the sinuous dimension of its aromas; sustained by a particularly accentuated fruity vein, it closes with a long and fragrant finish.
