SICILY. Nero D'Avola is a native Sicilian vine and takes its name from the sake town of Avola in the Southern part of Sicily.

Tasting Notes:

Ruby red in colour, this Nero d'Avola has an intense bouquet with hints of blackcurrant and blackberry and a velvety texture.

Food matches:

Ideal with rich pasta dishes, red meat and it is surprisingly effective paired with tuna steaks! Red wine with fish? – In Sicily of course!
