The Vinré Cabernet Sauvignon Langhe Rosso DOC is a full-bodied and structured red, due to spending a long time in barriques. An international vine, acclimatized in the Langhe for some time, Cabernet Sauvignon has been able to make its own lively and clear territorial characteristics. It grows not far from our wine cellars: a lucky example of winemaking between the past and future, a dialogue between a versatile and expressive international grape variety, and a territory strongly suited to wine production.
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is followed in every productive phase by expert Winemakers Giordano, directly in Valle Talloria. A little gem, the ideal bottle to put on the table for the most important occasions.
To the eye, it offers an intense red, violet compact colour. A contrast to an almost impenetrable colour, it offers an ample and fruity bouquet, with intriguing hints of vanilla and red fruits. Supported by a highly respected body, the taste reveals excellent character. The ageing process in wood, gives herbaceous and spicy notes, refined in a warm, full bodied wine which is illuminated by ripe and smooth tannins.
The Vinré Cabernet Sauvignon Langhe Rosso DOC is a wine which requires strong combinations: remarkable with truffle based dishes, excellent with duck, and entirely indispensable with a good grilled meat. If you are an expert in BBQs, the perfect wine pairing is with American Pulled Pork: tender, spicy and smoked pork, joined with a red wine that will drive even the most demanding Wine Lovers crazy.
Harvested in September, when the grapes reach full ripeness: the secret for turning Cabernet Sauvignon into wine lies in the maceration of the must on the skins. The longer the stay is prolonged, the greater the potential stored by the wine will be. Lastly, the aging process in wood will shape the character of this majestic red, smoothing its roughness and excesses and softening the tasting experience.
Cabernet Sauvignon is a vine of French origin: bordolese to be precise. Particularly suitable in vinification for two characteristics, namely the remarkable yield per hectare, and the longevity of the wines produced with it. It seems that Cabernet Sauvignon was born for a spontaneous crossing between Cabernet franc and Sauvignon.
The vineyards behind our cellars are a natural niche, which guarantees the best climate for the grapes to ripen. Good exposure and excellent climatic conditions have given the Cantina di Valle Talloria a particularly ideal fruit, capable of transferring an aromatic complex of rare fineness and complete elegance straight to the bottle.
